Fall of Cybertron cover revealed and new cinematic trailer

In Addition to all the new E3 crap, High Moon has decided to reveal the cover art for the game case, as well as a new cinematic trailer to help promote the game.

Other good news: while Co-op campaign will not be returning, escalation co-op mode has returned! In this mode, you'll be able to play all the "A-list" iconic characters (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, etc.) each with their own unique set of skills to fight off waves and waves of enemies. Similar to Call of Duty's Zombie mode, you can access a mystery box with weapons, set up traps, find ammo and special perks, and even use money to open doors into completely new environments.

The main interest in this mode is finding a good co-op set up. You can have one guy be the healer and another a tank, or perhaps an fighter in the skies and someone a scout, the combinations are endless! Multiplayer has also improved a lot, you can now make a completely new Transformer character of your own that you can show off on the challenging online battles.

The teaser trailer below shows many things. Be sure to check out Cliff jumper, Jazz, the Dinobots, all other characters that make an obvious appearance, and even the huge and mighty Metroplex! There's also a Gamestop pre-order deal, those who pre-order the game get a new character skin. The character skin is Optimus Prime in his classic G1 look like how he was in the old 1980 cartoon, a good shout out for older fans if ya ask me.

Game comes out August 28th for PS3, 360, and... PC!

E3 2012 reveals- PART 5

EVERYTHING SONY:
We will recap all the major announcements from each of the three leading gaming companies. To start off, we'll take a look at all the major Sony announcements from their conference:
PLAYSTATION ALL-STARS: BATTLE ROYALE FOR THE VITA ALSO!
The game will also have a Vita version, as well as cross-platform play. In addition to that, Sony unveiled two new Characters for the game. One is Uncharted's very own Nathan Drake, the other is Shockingly unexpected, Bioshock's own Infamous Big Daddy! Still no word on characters from Resistance, Infamous, Jak and Daxter, LittleBigPlanet, or even the Crash Bandicoot games, but they are a certain.
PLAYSTATION MOVE RACING WHEEL ANNOUNCED
Sony doesn't really show off their move stuff in commercials or ads, but that doesn't mean they don't care about it. Yesterday Sony announced a new racing wheel attachment for the move controller, which is nice since this year many racing games were revealed. Sony already revealed that it will work for new and existing games such as LittleBigPlanet Karting and Grand Turismo 5, and the wheel is set to release this year in Fall for a price of 40 bucks... seems fair right?
ASSASSIN'S CREED III / PS3 BUNDLE TO RELEASE OCTOBER 31ST!
Assassin's Creed III will obviously be a major release, so Sony was smart to announce a special PS3 bundle that includes not only the AC3 game but also a special DLC. The bundle will come out October 31st, same day as the actual games release.
MORE VITA NEWS AND GOODIES
Vita had a bad start, but it's future seems very bright. Sony announced that LittleBigPlanet Vita will also have cross-platform play using a very unique DLC, they also announced two very popular PSOne classics being rereleased: the original Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII. They also announced other Vita games coming out such as Call of Duty: Declassified and a unique Assassin's Creed III: Liberation game that stars a Female Assassin!
HTC TO RELEASE PLAYSTATION PHONES
Sony announced new Playstation-certified smartphones that will use a new function called Playstation mobile, which allows connection between Android or other devices... Cool, right?
AUGMENT REALITY FOR PS3'S WONDERBOOK
The Wonderbook is a flat platform that when used in conjunction with your PS3 and its PS3 Eye camera, uses augmented reality to expand what would normally be a book to include graphics and other visuals on your TV. Sony has done a similar thing with its EyePet series, also by Sony's London Studios.
Wonderbook has brought on Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling to create Book of Spells for the Wonderbook. Not the best thing shown at Sony's E3 conference, reports even mention problems accociated with it, but this will still make for a great interactive game for family and children in general...

E3 2012 reveals- PART 4

Continuing once again...

LUIGI'S MANSION 2

Now has a new title: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Dark Moon will release holiday this year exclusively for the 3DS, the game will have multiple different mansions instead of one big one like the first Gamecube entry had.

More about the game will be released at Nintendo's 3DS conference...

GEARS OF WAR: JUDGEMENT

Yep another Gears game, but it ain't number 4. They are now taking the God of War track and releasing a Prequel game. This prequel tells the tale of Baird, Cole, and the rest of the Kilo squad. This game also comes out sometime in 2013.

WATCH DOGS

Another new and exciting game from Ubisoft. Watch Dogs however is nothing like Assassin's Creed.

The backstory starts in 2003, when a power outage left 55 million Americans in the dark. The power outage was caused by a disgruntled employee who uploaded a virus that crippled the power grid on the east coast.
The government’s response was CTOS, a program that controls a city’s entire information network: the power grid, traffic grid, personal data networks, and everything else. CTOS controls the city, but also farms data on individuals. Who then controls CTOS? The player, of course.

The main character is a man named Aiden Pearce, a hacker who has access to all of the info CTOS compiles, and can pull up everyone’s personal data at will. After an impressive flyby of a bustling city, the camera seamlessly shifts to third-person gameplay.

Watch the Demo here:

This game comes out for presumably PS3, 360, and PC on an unknown date...

E3 2012 reveals- PART 3

Continuing our big E3 coverage...

DEAD SPACE 3 TEASER TRAILER

The game was already revealed and covered in our part 1 coverage, but now we have a teaser trailer and confirmation that the co-op partner is indeed John Carver! (warning: some language)

Game comes out February 2013, a lot of games are... My wallet is going to hate me.

ASSASSIN'S CREED III

Finally we can climb trees! Seems like a downgrade from being able to climb towers and massive buildings in the last four games, but it really isn't. The first gameplay trailer shows off how you can hunt, climb mountains and trees, and many of the cool new fighting techniques that will easily make this game on to keep an eye on.

The second trailer shows off how you can travel in ships and command them as a captain. This trailer in honest opinion is visually stunning.

The game comes out October 31st 2012, even fall will hurt my wallet...

THE LAST OF US

Here is Naughty Dog's next big game, I'm glad that they're giving Uncharted a break. To those who worry, this next game will be nothing like Uncharted other then amazing graphics. This is also very different from all other zombie-apocalypse type games. This will also be Naughty Dog's first majorly mature game since forever (almost all of Naughty Dogs games have been essentially T rated). Watch the gameplay trailer below (Warning: lots of strong language)

This game possibly releases this year, presumably December...

E3 2012 reveals- PART 2

Continuing our E3 coverage...

METAL GEAR RISING REVENGANCE

The game that is now under the command of Platinum, now has a release date of early 2013, however early that means. Platinum games is known for making ridiculous boss fights at epic scales, as well as insanely Bizzare gameplay aspects in a fun manner, so we expect this game to be insanely satisfying.

 Looks freaking amazing doesn't it?

TRANSFORMERS FALL OF CYBERTRON

Here's a game that doesn't come out in 2013, fall of cybertron hits stores in August. It will be both a sequel and a successor. What was revealed about it? How about gameplay of the first mission on easy mode?

Shoulder swaps, better graphics, cool cutscenes, and new gameplay mechanics unique to each specific character? Hooray! Game comes out August 28th 2012.

DISHONORED

Bethesda is mean, cause they tease us with this new gameplay trailer that looks really amazing! The game seems like the baby of Bioshock, Half-life, and Assassin's creed, but that ain't a bad thing at all!

This fabulous game also comes out this year, October 10th to be exact. Let's hope that the release date for this game doesn't get delayed, that seems to be a trend nowadays...

E3 2012 reveals- PART 1

E3 doesn't unveil until tomorrow, but a butt load of games have already made their reveal for their presence at this year's E3.

DEAD SPACE 3

Yep, the rumors and speculations were true. The next story for Isaac Clarke, and possibly his last, will officially make it's reveal at E3 on Monday. The rumors of the game taking place on an ice planet were also true, for the story involves Isaac crash landing on the planet accidentally when heading for earth after the events of Dead Space 2. He eventually teams up with a friend [speculation believes this friend will be John Carver from the animated short] and both attempt to find a way off the planet.

Turns out that the game does have on and off co-op, meaning that the story either progress with another protagonist or it doesn't. Even cutscenes and many story elements will be changed depending on whether the game mode is co-op or not. It's great that you have the choice of scaring yourself solo, or to have a buddy around to get scared also.
Yes, of course the freakin Necromorphs are back! Do we even have to question it? Ane yes there are many new types of Necromorph including taller and older versions of the pack, and a creature with legs and tentacles emitting from it's torso. But those aren't the only enemies you fight.
For the first time ever in Dead Space, there will actually be Human enemies! who also have rigs, plasma cutters, and special grenades. It's even  more terrifying when you have to kill the same person twice, some of these human enemies turn into Necromorphs right after you kill them.
Stay tuned for Monday when they reveal more about the game, and hopefully a release date and gameplay trailer, heck a cinematic trailer would be great too!

CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW 2

The first game was surprisingly appraised by Gameinformer, IGN, and other review sites, despite it being very different from the traditional Castlevania games. As for the fans, it's a mix of all sorts of feelings. Either way it turns out that there will be a sequel, and possibly the last Lords of Shadow game in the very short saga.
The game will once again star Gabriel, who starts off his story right after the events of the first game. Not much else is revealed yet other then the release date, which is March 2013, but who is that at the end of the trailer? Alucard??? Watch below:

More game details will hopefully emerge sometime this upcoming week...

TOMB RAIDER

The one game that many anticipate, but many also worry about. The Tomb Raider origin game has finally shown some really intriguing gameplay and story details that might even make non fans interested.
Ever wondered if Lara Croft really loves Tombs? Ever wondered who her first Kill was? Then check out the cool Gameplay trailer below:

The graphics are obviously very impressive, as good as the freaking Uncharted games! And the story will have a lot of mystery to it... Obviously. Square Enix personally has my faith in it, how about yours? The game comes out on March 5th 2013.

Bergy's epic search for the remaining four Arkham City Secrets- PART 2

Bergy's epic search continues.

So far nothing really noticeable or unseen from when he played the game before. He thought he found something that was a clue to the next Arkham game, but it ended up being nothing more than a blue print for Wonder city (which of course, is in the game and not a real deal of a secret) so far Bergy has found nothing whatsoever...

And thus the search continues...
